Among the most colorful inhabitants of our vegetable garden, 'Bright Lights' swiss chard gets reinvited every year. We like it as an unusual green (sauteed in olive oil with onions and garlic!), and the splash of color in the veggie garden (from its cream, yellow, orange, red, and green stalks) is most welcome too.
