Campanula portenschlagiana

Family campanulaceae
Life cycle perennial (Z4)
Flowers purple-blue (summer)
Size 6"
Light sun-part shade

Dwarf bellflower, often used in rock gardens. Produces a profusion of flowers from early summer onward. Plants can be kept compact by cutting back after flowering.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
