Wildflower of western North America, and the state flower of Wyoming. Each upright stem with sparse linear leaves holds a single flowerhead whose fluffy-brush appearance gives the plant its name. Probably none too easy to grow in Pennsylvania, but I'm giving it a try. Just seedlings for now.
