Common name bachelor's button; cornflower Family asteraceae Life cycle annual Flowers blue, white (summer) Size 3-4' Light sun Old-fashioned annual, popular in cutting gardens - which is exactly where it grows in our garden this year (although I haven't seen it appear in bouquets just yet - our cutting garden is mainly so in name only). Easy from seed, and very cheerful throughout summer.
