Rugged clumps of divided leaves, with tall upright stems of creamy pincushion flowers. Definitely back of the border. Ours is definitely ill-placed, in a corner of the side garden, where its sparse, open habit provides a look through to the white vinyl siding, rather than a lush leafy backdrop. I'll be moving it to a more naturalistic area of the garden this fall.
