Dwarf palm native to forests in tropical Mexico. Grows slowly to a height of about four feet, with graceful, glossy deep-green fronds. May eventually produce a short trunk. Flowers are small, but female plants produce showy bright-red fruit.
We bought a small specimen, and I'm curious how long it will take to amount to anything.
