Codonopsis thalictrifolia

Family campanulaceae
Life cycle
Flowers white

Curiously flared-out white flowers. I hope they survive (I have only modest success with various codonopsis species I've tried).

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
