Cornus alternifolia

Cornus alternifolia
pagoda dogwood

Common name pagoda dogwood
Family cornaceae
Life cycle tree (Z3-7)
Flowers white (May)
Size 15-25'
Light sun-part shade

Our specimen is still small - but it treated us to its first blooms the past couple of years. I like the coloration of the new leaves, too. The real attraction will be the elegant shape of the tree as it matures.
