I picked this plant up as a sprouted bulb at a local plant swap in spring of 2022. Online photos of this variety show different flower forms, but all with some striping: some are shown as pink-striped white flowers, while others look more like a bicolor pink/purple. It was happy enough where I set it in our garden, in a location that gets part-day sun, but it didn't produce any flowers until mid-June of 2025, when stalks holding several buds zoomed up to just above the extent of the strappy leaves, which grow perhaps 18" high. At least for now, our flowers don't show much striation, so I may have a mis-identified specimen – but I like the mid-pink flowers just fine, and look forward to seeing the plant further mature in our garden.
