Many hybrids and cultivars are available; ours is a variety with narrow leaves, decorated with a prominent plum-colored midrib. The main flowers have white petals tipped with deep pink, while the small flowers below are purplish-blue. It came from a big-box store, without a name. The closest match I've found is 'Strawberry Sundae', which used to be sold by TopTropicals but doesn't appear to be in commerce any more. The photos above were taken in early summer of their second year in our garden, while the ones below were taken just after planting in September.
