Cyclamen graecum

Cyclamen graecum
Even on young seedlings, the strikingly patterned topsides and bright burgundy undersides of the leaves are on full display. However, it doesn't fit with descriptions of the species online, so we may have something different on our hands

Family myrsinaceae
Life cycle perennial (zone 7, maybe 6)
Size 6"
From seed soak, germinate at room temperature
detailed seed-starting info below

Pretty flowers and leaves, but hardiness is dubious. I planted our seedlings close to the house, and hope for a mild winter.

This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away...
