Forms a low-growing mat of succulent foliage, with bright pink ray flowers from summer into late fall. Some years I think I've lost my specimen (it's kind of lost in an overcrowded corner of our front perennial bed), only to be surprised by an electric pink flower when I least expect it. I know the mother plant is not dying and being rejuvinated by seeds because it's evergreen here and it hangs over the sides of my upraised beds. I pulled out a 5 gallon bucket full and threw in the ditch this spring because it's spreading so much. |
