Common name foxglove Family scrophulariaceae Life cycle biennial/perennial Flowers white with orange-brown netting (late spring) Size 2' Light sun-part shade From seed Easy, germinate at room temperature, with exposure to light. detailed seed-starting info below Purchased a single healthy plant last year, and pleased to see it bloom this year. Hopefully it will turn out to be perennial - you never know with digitalis species. Very similar to D. lanata. Following year's note: it did not return - more biennial than perennial, apparently.
