Erigeron philadelphicus |
 |
Common name |
common fleabane |
Family |
asteraceae |
Life cycle |
biennial |
Flowers |
pink (spring) |
Moppy soft-pink daisies on an upright stalk. The way the leaf base wraps around the stalk is one of the distinguishing features between this and daisy fleabane. Our garden has lots of the daisy fleabanes, but this one only pops up once in a while. The one in the pictures grew in a crack of our patio.
