Galium circaezans

 
Common name liquorice bedstraw
Family rubiaceae
Life cycle perennial
Flowers white

US wildflower with tiny white flowers and bristly-hairy fruits. Leaves are arranged in neat fours along the upright stems. Photos I've seen don't exactly say "gardenworthy", so we're just keeping it around for observation.

This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away...
