Evergreen shrub with glossy dark-green leaves and fragrant white flowers. Our first attempt, 'August Beauty' has double flowers from May to October, but it wasn't happy with the sunny location we provided in our garden, and it died even after a rescue attempt that moved it to an afternoon-shade position. The following year, we replaced it with a 'Radicans' cultivar, a dwarf variety that grows only two foot tall.
