Impressive sprays of tiny white flowers, very effect as cut flowers. Our original plant gave up after years of reliable performance. After a few years' absence, we're establishing a new one in our garden.

Visitors to this page have left the following commentsCarol | Jul 31, 2009 | Thank you for your facts on German Statice, however they are little different from a thousand others I have been searching through because they lack some important facts. I thought that since you are caring enough to have a web sight you might be interested in adding this fact. How the heck to you plant the seed? should it be on the surface? Should it have a light cover? Is there something that I can do to make the seeds more productive - like refrigeration, etc.? Is the seed one which needs some depth and darkness? In all of the sites I've gone through absolutely no one bothers to tell what to do about planting the seed! I only provide seed germination information if I can speak from my own experience - which I can't, for German statice. But I do list some good germination resources on my links page. |
