Now here's an unusual rose of sharon! It has cream-and-green variegated foliage, attractive all growing season long, and dark maroon button flowers. Buttons, because they never open up like a regular rose of sharon flower does. This not only looks cool, but it also makes them last a lot longer. I'm surprised this is not more commonly grown.
