We purchased this plant as an aquatic marginal to grow in our pond's filtration bog, but it appears to be more commonly grown in regular soil. Should be interesting to see how it does in permanently wet conditions, living off the nutrients provided by fish poop. Our plant has only a couple of leaves thus far, so it may be a while before it blooms.
