Family |
hypoxidaceae |
Life cycle |
tender perennial (Z9) |

Grassy silky-haired leaves, bright-yellow five-petaled flowers. The hairs are twisted in dry conditions, and uncoil when it's wet. It apparently hails from Australia, and is not hardy here (I didn't do my homework when selecting this seed!).
