Iris graminea

Common name plum-scented iris
Family iridaceae
Life cycle perennial (Z4-8)
Flowers purple
Size 15"
Light sun

According to the description at Plant Delights Nursery, the small flowers on this little iris are mostly hidden by the foliage, but they have a pronounced scent.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
