Common name cutleaf Japanese aster Family asteraceae Life cycle perennial Flowers light blue (June) Size 2' Light A worthy addition to our smaller daisy-flowered perennials, this one shows off its power-blue flowers in June, earlier than its Kalimeris cousins in our garden. This is its first full season with us, so I can't comment on its habit just yet, but some report it will spread vigorously.
