One of the original denizens of our shrub border, this one has probably outgrown its space, but we like it too much to risk losing it in a move. Its white-pink flowers are carried in May on arching stems to quite an effect. The rest of the year, it's just a useful mound of foliage, doing its job of screening the view of the neighbors' driveway. We also love the fuzzy pinkish seedheads that cover the shrub right after it's done flowering.

| Patty | Oct 12, 2009 | Is this the beautybush that gets beautiful clusters of purple berrys in the fall? If so I would like to buy some. No, that would be beautyberry (Callicarpa species). |
