Not much of a problem in our gardens - where it appears, it's easy to pull (sometimes needs a bit of a heave with a trowel, but when it's out, it won't come back).

| inkblot | Dec 17, 2008 | Ignore japanesesandman. Wild lettuce has only a very weak psychoactive effect. Besides, that's Lactuca virosa, not L. canadensis. |
