Ligularia vorobievii

Family asteraceae
Life cycle perennial
Flowers orange-yellow (mid-late summer)
Size 3-4'

Taller-growing ligularia, with purple stems and spikes of golden yellow flowers. Grown as far north as Norway, so I expect it will be hardy here.

This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away...

Seed-starting details for this plant

  1. Seed from '08 trade. Baggy 65F (34%G, 5-14d). Seeds seemed flimsy, so I was pleased to see germination at all.
