Rushes are in the same general botanical class as grasses and sedges. This is the only one we purposely grow in our garden. It's a rather unassuming plant, with hairy grassy leaves and white flowers in spring, which nicely tucks into partly shady corners.

- Seed from '06 and '07 garden. Baggy 70F (10%G, 12-17d)
Seed maintains decent viability after a few years. Seedlings are fairly frost-tolerant.
