Our second-year plants haven't attained much stature yet, but they're showing off their dark burgundy blooms to good effect. With a bit more bulk behind them, they should prove to be a striking addition to our perennial portfolio.

In, GRIN, lysimachia is now classified in myrsinaceae, with primulaceae getting an "also placed in" reference. I'm not a taxonomist, so for the most part I stick with GRIN for my reference. |

Clothier says this germinates cold, but the results above suggest that moving to room temperature after a cold treatment is the way to go.
