Grown as an annual in our area. For some reason, I seldom fare well with these - they come up just fine indoors in spring, but then just sit there when I plant them outside. Maybe they need high fertility...
This year, my plants stayed small, but at least they bloomed. The variety was named 'Broken Colors', and indeed some of the flowers sported interesting color patterns, whereas others were uniformly shaded - sometimes on the same plant.
