ordinary garden soil |
South African cormous species producing boldly marked fragrant yellow-and-orange flowers. Summer-dormant. Each plant produces a single gray-green leaf. It should be tolerant of the mild freezes Houston's climate produces, although I have not seen an actual hardiness zone rating for this one.
