Grown for its understated green flowers. Variegated forms get mixed reviews - we've had seedlings for both the species and a cultivar named 'Cream Splash', but only uniformly green-leafed plants grew to flowering. Pretty nice, and not fussy.

This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away...
