This onion relative (without the distinctive scent) made a surprise appearance in one of our garden borders; when I found it, I was unsure if it was an on-purpose plant or a spontaneous arrival. I soon learned its identity from my favorite plant ID forum, and concluded it was indeed a volunteer wildflower. I hesitate to call it a weed, because it's pretty and doesn't seem like it will be troublesome, but for now I'll keep it on my weeds page. If I decide to keep it around, I may reclassify it.
