Wildflower of eastern North America, forming a mound of narrow leaves, and small golden-yellow flowers held on branching stems through much of summer. The flowers are open during the day, closed at night. Probably short-lived as a perennial, if our experience with oenotheras holds true.

We're just trying this plant for the first time this year; it hasn't found a permanent place in our gardens yet. (click here for a full list)
