In late May and June, the pink flowers on this evening primrose are irresistable. The foliage is nothing to write home about - a bit scraggly, but at least it stays green. The plant wants to scramble around by its roots; in rich moist soil it can get out of hand, but in the marginal conditions provided by our driveway bed, it's manageable.
