Plant grown from seed in 2002 bloomed in its second year in our garden, but didn't return. Plants grown in 2003 didn't return even for year two. All were sited in a fairly well-drained area; not sure what did 'm in.

Apparently, a long cold treatment (12 weeks or so) is beneficial.
