This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away... About my plant portraits
PlantLinks to other web pages about Penstemon ophianthus
- Seed from NARGS '08/'09 exchange, cold-stored through summer. Baggy 35F (8w; 29%G, 30-45d) - 70F (no further G)
According to Clothier's records, this one should germinate at cool room temperature following cold treatment; my experience was different. Most of the seeds that germinated in the baggy did not produce viable seedlings: like many other penstemons, this one is very finnicky about growing-on conditions.
