One of the easiest penstemons to grow from seed, requiring no cold treatment or light. detailed seed-starting info below
|
Lovely strongly upright penstemon - a single flower stalk rises from a neat rosette of foliage, with tubular flowers spaced along it. It is supposed to be long-lived - unfortunately, ours all perished after their second season. Maybe the wet conditions throughout the season last year did them in. We're trying again this year (2008).
