Every so often, we grow snow peas in our vegetable garden. I don't give them a particularly good trellis (they get to clamber on the fence along the back edge of the garden), and we seldom get a very good harvest. But they are good to munch on as a quick raw garden snack, and they have pretty two-toned flowers in June.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston. About my plant portraits
