Alpine relative of Jacob's ladder, with similar pinnately divided leaves in a compact mound. Flower clusters are blue, or sometimes white, and appear throughout summer. It is found in rocky places at high elevations in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.

This plant used to grow in our garden, but it slipped away...
