As the name suggests, the leaves on this lungwort are narrower than the common lungwort (P. officinalis), but they are similarly white-mottled. Ours blooms from late April to early May - small blue and pink flowers held close to the foliage.

I've also noticed a single seedling near my original plant. It doesn't seed as rampantly as the regular lungwort, but I'm pretty sure its main reproduction is by seed. |

According to several sources I checked, it will grow in full shade. I expect that blooming will be somewhat diminished in those conditions. Ours gets morning sun, which seems to suit it just fine. |
