We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston. About my plant portraits

It has taken over the garden and half the lawn. I've pulled up runners and cut it back, but that only seems to encourage it. It is even forcing out my Chocolate Ruffles Ajuga. HELP!! How do I keep it in check? I'm planning on digging up the original plant to put back into a pot--I relaly do like the foliage, but how do I get it out of the lawn? |
Kathy | Apr 02, 2010 | This is one horrible plant. I too, have been waging war against it. For about 5 years I have been trying to get rid of this. It chokes out everything. It spreads from rooting stems and seeds. |
