Roscoea scillifolia

Family zingiberaceae
Life cycle perennial (Z7?)
Flowers pink
Size 6-10"
Light sun-shade

Orchid-like flowers tucked into a clump of strappy leaves. Not quite hardy here, but perhaps I can keep it alive long enough to see it flower.

We're just trying this plant for the first time this year; it hasn't found a permanent place in our gardens yet. (click here for a full list)
