Seed ripensearly October

Cheerful annual daisy, making for a great display when a few plants are clustered together. the flowers come in a wide range of patterns, with colors generally in the yellow-orange-brown-burgundy range. We've twice grown a crop from named seed: a few years ago 'Rustic Colors', and more recently 'Goldielocks'. The smaller photos on this page are all examples of 'Rustic Colors', and the large photo at top is a volunteer several generations removed. 'Goldielocks' is a traditional plain-yellow black-eyed susan type.
