Low-growing variety of this variable species, growing strictly from a stationary clump of lax strappy leaves rather than running by roots, with petunia-like flowers over a long season of bloom. It's sold as "seasonal color" in local nurseries, and I didn't realize it was a perennial until it came back several years in a row. Well-behaved and dependable.
