We picked this up as an unlabeled plant at a discount nursery. Through internet forums, I tentatively identified it as sasaella; everything matches, except the height - the sasaella is supposed to grow to 5', while ours doesn't get taller than about 1 foot. It starts out with a lot of the creamy color (left photo taken in May), and gets more of the green as the season wears on (right photo in August).
