Selenicereus undatus

Selenicereus undatus
Sad rooted cutting, just planted

Common name dragonfruit cactus; pitaya
Family cactaceae
Life cycle perennial (Z10-11)

Cactus with lax stems bearing interesting flowers followed by red-fleshed fruit. Grown both as an ornamental and for its fruit. Not likely to be hardy here, but I stuck a rooted section I got at a plant swap in May into our rock garden zone just to see what it does.

In our garden, this plant grows in the following area: rock garden zone
