Compact lilac with fragrant flowers. Resistant to powdery mildew. Reportedly sometimes reblooms in early fall. We got ours as a very small plant to plant along our new big pond, and it took a few years to get going. In recent years, it has grown into a substantial but still compact shrub.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston. About my plant portraits
