This meadow rue has larger flowers than most on strong stems. The petals are rounded, the flowers almost cup-shaped. The foliage is attractive, with leaflets shaped like a mix of eggs and chubby mittens; ours happens to be a bit purple-tinged in mid-spring; not sure if that's typical for the species, or just a result of local conditions. Plants are taller than T. rochebrunianum, but otherwise fairly similar.
