This is the most intricate, truly tiny meadow rue (compare the size of its leaves with the morning glory seedling right next to it). I love the almost ferny look of the diminutive leaves. It bloomed both this year and last, but I missed it both times - it must not hold its flowers for long. This spring I moved it to the edge of the patio, where I hope to watch it more closely.
For now, I'm lumping plants I started from seed labeled 'Afghanistan' in with this species, although the exact species isn't clear. I've seen hints that it is T. m. adiantifolium, or T. isopyroides.

- Seed from '01 trade. Baggy 35F (9w)-70F (35%G, 6-19d)
- Same seed as above. Baggy 35F (10w)-70F (8w)-70F with light. No G.
- Seed for 'Afghanistan' from '04 trade. Baggy 35F (53d; 23%G, 39-53d) - 70F (15%G, 8d)
Seed may be short-viable. I'll try sowing in early winter next year. Seedlings are very slow-growing - start early to get plants large enough to set out in late spring.
