We picked this up at a local "native plant sale". It's a strongly upright meadow rue, covered in white flowers in June. Not a stunner like lavender mist meadow rue, or as full and colorful as yellow meadow rue – but it's earned itself a permanent place in our garden because of its stature and hardy constitution.

We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
