Thermopsis chinensis 'Sophia'
Spikes of cool yellow pea-flowers on leafy stems, which makes it a sweet front-of-the-border plant. Earliest-blooming of the thermopsis species we've grown, starting by late April.
We left this plant behind in our Pennsylvania garden (and wish it well); we don't grow it in Houston.
